Messy Play Day!

Saturday October 24th 2015 – 10am-midday

Open to children 6 months to 6 years old. $5 per child, cash only.

We have had to place a maximum age limit of 6 years old, due to the overwhelming amount of interest from local families.  We also request that if possible prams are left at home/in the car as there will be only a very limited amount of space for pram parking.

Also, please be aware that each child will most likely not be able to spend the full two hours participating in Messy Play, as we have over 400 people interested in the event, but not enough space to fit them all at once. However there will be plenty of entertainment provided while queuing, plus tours of the toy library space and a Pre-loved Toy Sale.

Please be sure to dress in old clothes and bring a change of clothes for the trip home.

We’ve got our shopping lists ready… spaghetti, food dye, toilet paper – plus secret slime ingredients.  It’s going to fantastic fun!

Spring ’15

Following the AGM in September, your current committee members are:

President: Sally Tuck

Secretary: Zara Pritchard

Treasurer: Hope Wiseman

Rosters & duty phone: Cheril Kemp

Grants coordinator: Renae O’Brien

We would love more people to join us – we need extra help in the areas of events coordination (e.g. BBQ and Messy Play Day) and fundraising. We would also like a person to take on a role in promotion & advertising – such as updating our Facebook page.

Committee meetings are continuing on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm at the toy library. Anyone who’d like to join the committee is always welcome. Our phone number and email address are to the right of your screen to contact us for more details on how you can get involved. We are a friendly bunch of busy parents who enjoy meeting over a cuppa each month to keep this great member-run organisation going strong, so we can continue to offer a great selection of exciting toys for the children of Ballarat to borrow.

The first Tuesday of the month from 7:30-9pm is also a great time to pop in and borrow toys, join the library or ask questions.
